This is a collection of glass and copper that was made between 1997 to 2007. The copper and glass solar system is a work that has been changing for its life. And is now on its third set of planets. The first set was copper, then glass , then finer glass .The top of the sun is eight feet tall and the base is five feet wide .The bowl holds over three hundred gallons of water, and the planetary symbols are embossed on the bowl. The copper trees are sixteen feet tall, and each leaf is oak, and not one is the same . The torso is life size,and anatomically in proportion. The gate is ten feet wide , and five feet tall. It is an abstract tree,with a glass rose in the center . The tear drop shaped piece is also a fountain . The water flows down the surface of the copper and recirculates through the center.
