The octagon glass house is being built, as you can see in these pictures . Two stories high, each level equals about 13 feet, and the total hight is 34 feet, and 34 feet wide . We also have a portable sawmill , so all of the wood was cut from trees that fell during hurricane katrina . All of the members in the building were pulled into place with a hand powered gin crane . 4x6 rafters, 4x12 beams, telephone pole uprights, this building will survive hurricanes. This is the first six months of carpentry work which ,so far , has been achieved solely by the proprietor, but he is always open to help and donations, especially if you want to learn, or know about octagonal carpentry. We are building a large  lier, sixteen inch glory hole, and a two hundred fifty pound invested crucible furnace, which we are running on waste vegetable oil. And we will teach some weekend workshops. So keep checking in for progress and upgrades.
